At least $1,000 in savings or profit opportunities identified — or your money back.
“I can see the earned revenue from the year but I can’t feel it. Where did it all go?”
That question comes up in almost every first conversation I have with a CEO.
The revenue is real. The clients are paying. The business is growing. And somewhere between what comes in and what stays, the money disappears into a gap nobody can explain.
The bank account doesn’t reflect the effort. The founder’s pay doesn’t reflect the revenue. The margins don’t reflect the growth. And the question keeps resurfacing: if the business is earning this much, why doesn’t it feel like it?
This is the Revenue-Profit Gap. The structural distance between what a business earns and what its founder actually keeps. And it affects nearly every CEO past $250K in revenue, regardless of industry.
You already have a bookkeeper. You already have an accountant. You may have a business coach somewhere in the picture. Yet the strategic question goes unanswered: where is the money actually going, and what should I do about it?
Your bookkeeper records what happened. Your accountant files what’s required. And the question you actually need answered sits in the space between them.
What the gap is costing you.
The Revenue-Profit Gap doesn’t announce itself. It compounds quietly.
Every month you operate without financial visibility is a month of decisions made on gut feel at a scale where gut feel is no longer sufficient. You hesitate on hires. You second-guess pricing. You delay investments. You wonder if the next big move is affordable, and you don’t have a number to check it against.
The clients who come to me describe the same pattern. They’ve had a strong launch, closed a major deal, or finished a record-revenue quarter, and the bank account still didn’t move the way it should have. Some discovered that their fastest-growing service was their least profitable. Some found that peers at the same revenue level were paying themselves double. Some hadn’t paid themselves properly in months.
The gap doesn’t shrink with more revenue. A business generating $500,000 and keeping $40,000 doesn’t become healthy by generating $800,000 and keeping $50,000. The confusion grows alongside the revenue. The decisions become larger. The consequences become more expensive.
The financial structure underneath the business never evolved alongside the business itself. That’s what needs fixing. And the first step is seeing exactly where the gap lives.
The answer is already in your numbers.
Most financial reports provide data without meaning. They show transactions without explaining patterns. They tell you what happened without telling you what to do next.
The Profit Audit changes that.
Instead of generating another report, we interpret the business. We identify where profit is leaking. We quantify what those leaks are costing. We uncover pricing issues, examine cost of delivery, analyse founder pay, and surface the inefficiencies your bookkeeper doesn’t see and your accountant doesn’t flag.
And we translate everything into plain language so you understand exactly what is happening inside your business. During the session itself.
The answer you’ve been looking for is almost always already inside your numbers. It just needs someone who knows how to read them through a profit lens.

How the Profit Audit works.
The Profit Audit is a 90-minute, 1:1 strategic session with Anwin Mbah.
It is a standalone advisory engagement designed to answer one question: Where is the money actually going?
Before the session begins, you complete a structured intake. You provide your recent financial information, business details, pricing structure, team information, and the questions currently keeping you awake at night.
I review everything before we meet. Which means we don’t spend the session gathering information. We spend it analysing. By the time we sit down together, the investigation has already begun. The conversation starts with insight.
The four areas.
The audit focuses on four areas where established businesses most commonly lose profit without realising it.
Profit Margin Analysis. We identify where revenue is being generated and where profit is actually being retained. They are rarely the same thing.
Pricing Review. We evaluate whether your pricing reflects the true value and delivery costs of your services. Many CEOs discover they are unintentionally subsidising clients.
Cost of Delivery Assessment. We examine what it genuinely costs to fulfil your offers. The number is almost always different from the one in your head.
Founder Pay Analysis. We identify whether the business is protecting your compensation or treating it as an afterthought. Being the last line item in your own company is not a sustainable structure.
Throughout the session, every opportunity is quantified. By the end, you know what the opportunities are worth and where they exist.
What you leave with.
You leave the Profit Audit with a written action plan and your three highest-ROI priorities, in order.
The priorities are specific: which actions will have the largest impact on your profitability, what they’re worth, and what to do first. These are moves you can act on immediately.
You also leave with a clear picture of the structural health of your business: where profit is leaking, where pricing needs attention, what your services genuinely cost to deliver, and whether your pay reflects what you’ve built.
Most importantly, you stop guessing. You know. And once you know, the decisions that have been stalling start to move.
The guarantee.
We identify at least $1,000 in profit opportunities, savings, pricing improvements, margin improvements, or recoverable value. Or the audit is free.
The guarantee exists for two reasons. First, it eliminates the risk for you. Second, it reflects confidence in what the audit consistently finds.
In 20 years across regulated financial services and active CEO advisory, the patterns are reliable. The money is almost always there. It just needs someone looking in the right places.
The risk sits with me.
Who this is for.
The Profit Audit is built for CEOs generating $250K to $3M in annual revenue who have experienced the maddening gap between what their business earns and what they actually keep.
You’ll get the most from this session if:
Your revenue is real but your profit feels unclear.
The business is earning, but the bank account and your pay tell a different story.
You’re making significant decisions and wish you had a financial analyst to run the numbers with before you commit.
A hire. A price change. An investment. An expansion.
You have a bookkeeper and an accountant, and neither can answer the strategic questions.
Is this priced for profitability? Will this make my company better or worse? Where is the margin actually going?
You’ve tried to get help with this before and what you found was either backward-looking or surface-level.
A coach who was strong on goals and quiet on margins. An accountant who files but doesn’t advise.
This is for capable CEOs who have built something real and want to understand what’s happening inside it.
Why CEOs trust me with this work.
I am a finance and financial systems professional who became a Strategic Profit Advisor.
Before building Wealthfluency, I spent 20 years inside institutions like HSBC Private Bank, National Commercial Bank Jamaica, Zurich Finance, Natixis, and Lloyds Banking Group. I have worked with financial systems, business architecture, regulatory frameworks, and wealth-management infrastructure across European and Caribbean markets.
At HSBC Private Bank, I saw firsthand how the ultra-high-net-worth think about their money. The strategies were structural. Behavioural. Designed to protect, multiply, and pay. How much the client earned was almost irrelevant.
I build that same structural thinking for the businesses that built themselves without it.
What you’re looking for is someone who can look at the numbers and tell you the truth. Clearly. Directly. Without jargon, without judgement, and without making you feel inadequate for not already knowing.
That’s the conversation I bring.

Questions you may be asking.
- I already have a bookkeeper and accountant. Why do I need this?
- Those professionals are essential. Their role is different. Bookkeepers record transactions. Accountants manage compliance and reporting. The Profit Audit focuses on interpretation and decision-making. What do these numbers mean? What are they telling you? What should you do next? That’s the gap this fills.
- Is this a sales call for Profit Advisory?
- No. The Profit Audit is a complete deliverable. Many clients act on the findings independently. Some move into Profit Advisory. Others don’t. The value of the audit exists regardless of what happens next.
- Is 90 minutes really enough?
- Yes. The analysis begins before the call. I’ve seen these patterns repeatedly across established businesses. The objective is to identify what matters most. That happens quickly when you know what you’re looking for.
- What if my books aren’t perfect?
- They don’t need to be. Real businesses are rarely perfect. What matters is having enough information to evaluate the underlying patterns. We work with what exists.
- What if you don’t find $1,000 in opportunities?
- The audit is free. Simple.
What happens after.
The Profit Audit is a standalone deliverable. If it answers your questions, you’re done.
Some CEOs walk away with their action plan and implement on their own. That’s a good outcome. The session was designed to be complete in itself.
For others, the Audit reveals structural work that goes deeper than a single session can address. Pricing architecture that needs rebuilding. A cash flow system that needs restructuring. A profit infrastructure that was never installed.
In those cases, we discuss Profit Advisory: the 12-week engagement where we build your permanent profit infrastructure, including the CEO Command Centre, Profit First implementation, and the decision-making framework you keep for the life of your business. You can read more about that on the Profit Advisory page.
That conversation happens naturally, if it’s relevant. There is no pitch. The Audit earns the next step, or it doesn’t.
Your numbers have answers. Let’s find them.
